Tuy: The educational community pays a final tribute to biology teacher Justin Gnoumou, who passed away following devastating floods in Hound© on June 23, 2026. Justin Gnoumou, a dedicated educator in the field of Life and Earth Sciences, was laid to rest on June 25, 2026, at the Lokihoun cemetery in Sector 4. The ceremony saw attendance from relatives, friends, colleagues, former students, and local education officials who gathered to honor his memory.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the burial ceremony was attended by notable figures including Souleymane Dianda, president of the special delegation of the municipality of Hound©, and Seydou Traor©, the provincial director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training for Tuy. Born on June 6, 1982, in Yaho, Justin Gnoumou held a master's degree in biology and animal physiology from Joseph Ki-Zerbo University. He embarked on his teaching career in 2010 at the Hound© Municipal High School, later continuing his service at the Hound© Regional High School until his untimely death.
