Goulmou Dyers and Weavers Donate 350,000 FCFA to Support Faso Mªbo Initiative

Ouagadougou: The Union of dyers and weavers of the Goulmou region has made a significant contribution to the Faso Mªbo agency, donating 350,000 FCFA and actively participating in the production of paving stones at a community site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Union, Pabadou Flora Lankoand©, expressed that the financial contribution, despite being modest, signifies the patriotic commitment of the women in the region to aid the development efforts led by the country's authorities. "It's a modest sum, but it comes from the heart. We want to contribute to building our country," Lankoand© stated.

In addition to the financial donation, over 100 women from the Union engaged in community work at the Faso Mªbo site, assisting in the production of paving stones. This involvement highlights the determination of these artisans to support development initiatives and respond to the authorities' call for citizen participation.

Site officials expressed appreciation for this demonstration of solidarity and civic engagement. They encouraged other socio-professional organizations to emulate this example to help ensure the success of the Faso Mªbo initiative, which aims to mobilize all vital forces of the nation.
