Garango: Education stakeholders from the Garango 1 CEB presented their New Year's greetings to the head of the district on Friday, February 13, 2026, during a ceremony marked by recognition of achievements and a call for mobilization for the challenges ahead.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the achievements of the past school year and to formulate suggestions for improving results. Participants commended the efforts made by all educational stakeholders and reaffirmed their commitment to a more effective school system.
The head of the constituency, Yedipaga Ouali, congratulated his colleagues on the results achieved. "I would like to congratulate all those involved for the work accomplished and I ask for everyone's support in achieving the expected objectives," he declared. He also indicated that the success of future actions will depend on collective involvement, inviting partners and teachers to continue efforts in the same dynamic.
The ceremony was also marked by a tribute paid to two officers who have retired, Minoungou Arouna and Mamatou Traore. The organizers emphasized in their remarks that these individuals "served the school with dedication and deserve the recognition of the entire educational community."
Several awards were given to office workers, teachers holding the CM2 qualification, and school principals who distinguished themselves through their performance. Certificates of recognition were also presented to partners for their contribution to the development of education in the district.
Another striking feature of the ceremony: all participants were dressed in traditional K´k´ Dunda and Faso Danfani outfits, an initiative welcomed by the organizers as a way to promote national culture. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, with education stakeholders reaffirming, in unison, their commitment to working towards a 2026 school year marked by cohesion, performance and success.
