Gnagna: The second edition of the Bogand© Maracana Vaccances, Culture et Sport (BO.VA.CS) 2025 tournament was officially launched this Saturday, August 2, on the communal land in sector 2 of Bogand©. The opening ceremony featured speeches and the performance of the national anthem, under the honorary presidency of His Majesty Yempaabou, head of the canton of Bogand©, represented by Robert Lankoand©.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the opening match saw FC L©gendes de Bantia and FC Jeunes Talents end in a 1-1 draw. The second match, featuring defending champions FC Calcio and FC Black Stars de Bantia, concluded with a 0-0 draw. Juliano Diny©ri, the tournament promoter, expressed gratitude to past partners and called for support for the current edition, emphasizing the event's aim to foster peace, solidarity, and social cohesion among local youth.
The sponsors, Y. Ernest Lankoand© and Mathieu Ouoba, represented by Ouhambri Ouoba, encouraged teams to adhere to the internal regulations to ensure the tournament's smooth running. D. Robert Lankoand©, representing the honorary president, praised the initiative and urged fair play among the teams, highlighting His Majesty Yempaabou Lankoand©'s support for promoting coexistence and peace.
The ceremony was attended by local personalities, traditional and administrative representatives, and a large audience who came to support the teams.
