Ouagadougou: The special operation to issue land titles to buyers of plots from private real estate companies will begin next week and will last one month, announced Sunday the Director General of Taxes, Talato Éliane Djiguemdé /Ouédraogo.Sunday evening on RTB, Ms. Djiguimdé added that applicants for allocation certificates (for bare land) and PUH (for built-up land) will register on a platform by providing three pieces instead of nine.The nature of these three pieces has not yet been specified.To enable people to pay, the government decided to apply lump sums, said Talato Éliane Djiguimdé/Ouédraogo.As an example, she indicated that for built-up land of 240 m², applicants from Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso will pay 375,000 FCFA.For the same built area, buyers of Banfora and Koupela will pay 250,000 FCFA and 187,000 FCFA respectively.Payments will be made at the one-stop shops for land and estate services.In view of the facilities offered by the government, the Director General of Taxes, Talato Éliane Djiguemdé/Ouédraogo, urged beneficiaries to seize this opportunity to regularize their land situation.As a reminder, the Burkinabè government authorized on July 3, 2024 a special operation to issue land titles across the entire territory.The operation, which is in its first phase, concerns 180,000 plots acquired from 49 private real estate companies on 127 sites.Source: Burkina Information Agency
