The United to Act Association Launches Promotional Day for Local Products in Tapoa

Tapoa: The United to Act Association (UPA) organized a promotional day on April 4, 2026, in Diapaga to promote local products and support the economic empowerment of mothers involved in income-generating activities. These efforts aim to aid the schooling and retention of young girls in school and address their families' needs.

According to Burkina Information Agency, since 2023, UPA has been committed to supporting education in Tapoa by donating bicycles and school supplies. Additionally, the association focuses on strengthening the resilience of schools and families of beneficiary girls through various initiatives. This includes training programs for mothers, enabling them to manage income-generating activities with financial support.

The representative of the National Coordinator of UPA, OUOBA Bahanla YONLI, emphasized the importance of their contributions, stating that the value of assistance provided to beneficiary mothers is immeasurable, addressing immediate needs and human necessities. Nano YONLI, a beneficiary, expressed hope that such donations would inspire other associations and highlighted the significance of these promotional days in facilitating interactions with clients and supporting students.

The UPA's promotional day has generated revenue for women and positively impacted over 300 households since 2023.
