The Village Development Councils of Sgunga Contribute to Faso Mªbo Agency’s Paving Project

Ouagadougou: The Village Development Councils (CVD) of the 63 villages and 6 sectors of the commune of Sgunga handed over, on Tuesday, July 28, a contribution of 2 tons of cement and 2 wheelbarrows to the Faso Mªbo Agency in Ouahigouya, taking part at the same time in the paving work, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donors' representative, Abdoul Aziz Niatta, suggested that this initiative aims to support the call by the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, to build the country together.

For Marcel Oudraogo, Head of Mission at the Presidency of Faso, who received the donation, this contribution demonstrates the unwavering support of the people of Sgunga for the Faso Mªbo Agency, committed to improving the living environment.

"With this modest contribution, we want to show our support for this initiative, the results of which are now visible and tangible on the ground," said Hamad Sawadogo, President of the Citizen Watch of Sgunga, on behalf of the CVDs.

In addition to their in-kind contributions, the donors participated in community service work at the Faso Mªbo Agency site, reaffirming their commitment to supporting development initiatives led by the highest authorities of Burkina Faso.
