Ouagadougou: The village of Fing inaugurates its new CSPS. The High Commissioner of the province of Tuy, Issiaka Segda, proceeded on Saturday, May 17, 2025, to the inauguration of the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) of Fing, in the rural commune of Founzan.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the newly established Health and Social Promotion Center in Fing comprises a dispensary, a maternity ward, a medicine depot, housing, and sanitation facilities. The official inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, much to the delight of the local community.
The infrastructure, valued at 130 million FCFA, was constructed with funding from both the state and municipal budgets. Issiaka Segda, representing the Governor of the Hauts-Bassins region, emphasized that this development represents significant progress in healthcare accessibility for the residents. He encouraged the community to take responsibility for maintaining the health center.
Wahabo Kabor©, president of the special municipal delegation of Founzan, expressed gratitude to all partners involved in the project. Additionally, Doctor Youssouf Ou©draogo, head physician of the Hound© health district, highlighted that the health center's construction aligns with the national policy to ensure every Burkinabe has access to quality healthcare. He commended the special delegation for its dedication to public health and urged the community to utilize the facility responsibly.
