According to Burkina Information Agency, offenders participated in activities like clearing gutters and cleaning streets and alleyways of the city. This initiative is designed to blend punishment with awareness and civic engagement, urging offenders to contribute to the community's quality of life.

Authorities aim to emphasize the importance of following the Highway Code as a critical measure for safeguarding lives and enhancing the safety of all road users.

Bruno Kabor©, the central police commissioner of Ouargaye, noted that the city's resilience hinges on collective discipline and adherence to established rules. He emphasized that road incivility poses significant dangers and stressed the importance of abiding by speed limits and wearing helmets, stating that offenders will be subject to the law.
