Tricycle Drivers and Gad Taaba Association Support Yargatenga Medical Center Project

Yargatenga:The president of the special delegation of the commune of Yargatenga, Mahamadou Sarambe, recently welcomed a significant contribution from the Gad Taaba Association. This association, which includes sand and aggregate transporters, delivered a first convoy of sand to aid in the construction of a fence around the Communal Medical Center (CMC) of Yargatenga.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mahamadou Sarambe praised this initiative as a patriotic act that supports local development. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in building their locality, urging residents to actively participate in development efforts rather than relying on external help.

Sarambe called on tricycle drivers to maintain unity and encourage other associations and trades to join the effort. He offered assistance in facilitating access to aggregates required for the construction. He highlighted that local tradespeople, including masons and welders, would be invited to contribute to building the CMC wall.

Significant resources have already been gathered for the project, with over two million CFA francs in cash and nearly 15 tons of cement collected. Additionally, Yargatenga residents living abroad have pledged their support.

The president also reminded drivers about the importance of wearing protective helmets and encouraged them to formalize their association for official recognition. Rasmane Bidima, speaking on behalf of the drivers, expressed gratitude towards the association and community members who supported the initiative.

The Gad Taaba Association has committed to supplying all the sand needed for the CMC fence, demonstrating the local community's dedication to enhancing their health infrastructure.
