Tuy/Education: 19 school heads honored by their former colleagues

Houndé, The principals and directors of high schools and colleges gathered within the social unit of heads of post-primary and secondary establishments in the province of Tuy paid tribute, on Saturday, November 4, 2023 to Houndé, to their former colleagues.

After several years of good and loyal service accomplished in the province of Tuy, 19 principals and directors of high schools and colleges are now called to serve in other horizons.

To express their gratitude and say goodbye to their former colleagues, the principals and directors of high schools and colleges gathered within the social unit of post-primary and secondary school heads in the province of Tuy organized a ceremony tribute on Saturday November 4, 2023 in Hounde. The meeting was attended by new heads of establishments in the province, including administrators of high schools and colleges recently installed in several high schools in the province.

During this ceremony, the outgoing school heads each received a painting as a sign of recognition and remembrance.

The Tuy provincial directorate of post-primary and secondary education which was represented also awarded them letters of recognition for services rendered to the province.

According to the president of the social unit of school heads in the province, Arsène Domboué, also headmaster of the Tuy provincial high school, the motives behind this initiative are in particular the values of living together and solidarity which underpin the unit. social security of heads of establishments.

He congratulated the heads of establishments who left for the work done and the efforts made for the cohesion of the principals and directors of high schools and colleges in the province.

“ As collaborators sharing the same daily concerns, we know the value of the work you have done and we thank you very much,” he declared to the heads of establishment before wishing them all the happiness possible in their new positions.

Mr. Domboué also welcomed the new principals and directors of high schools and colleges into the family of school leaders in the province.

“We are counting on their contribution and I also know that they are counting on our experience in the field. We will complement each other and I think that normally the future must be better,” he indicated.

Salomon Traoré, former principal of the Pê high school, on behalf of the school heads who left, thanked the social unit as well as the provincial management in charge of secondary education for these marks of recognition.

According to him, this testifies to the good collaboration that there has been on the one hand with the heads of establishment and on the other hand with the hierarchy.

To the new principals and directors responsible for taking over, he wished them every success in their missions and good collaboration with their colleagues and the hierarchy for the happiness of the students of the Tuy province.

This ceremony also served as a framework to present the newly installed heads of establishments of the province to the members of the social unit.
