Vice-Governor of BCEAO Donates Three Million CFA Francs to Faso Mªbo Initiative


Ouagadougou: The Vice-Governor of the BCEAO offers three million CFA francs to the Faso Mªbo initiative. The president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Dissihn, Benjamin Nana, received, on July 4, 2026, a donation of three million CFA francs offered by the vice-governor of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), Kpi¨l¨ Der Rogatien Poda.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the donor is responding to the call of the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traor©, who invites the Burkinabe to build and develop the nation by themselves. The Vice-Governor of the BCEAO, Kpi¨l¨ Der Rogatien Poda, who was visiting his family, coincided with the official launch of the Faso Mªbo project in the commune of Dissihn. “I am from this area, and it was by chance that I discovered this wonderful project you are undertaking. Faso Mªbo is a commendable initiative, which is why I decided to make a financial contribution and participate in the work,” he said.



Out of his deep connection to his village and country, he presented a check for three million (3,000,000) CFA francs to support the Faso Mªbo initiative. In addition to the check, he donated twenty thousand (20,000) CFA francs for refreshments for the citizens who were helping to lay the paving stones.



The PDS of the Dissihn commune, Benjamin Nana, praised the donor’s gesture, which he described as patriotic. “You have just performed a civic act. I thank you for your patriotic commitment. I invite the sons and daughters of Dissihn, wherever they may be, to support the development efforts of our commune,” he declared.



The municipal authorities reminded everyone that donations for the Faso Mªbo initiative continue to be received at the Dissihn town hall.
