Village of Dinkoro Donates Corn and Cash to Local Self-Defense Group

Solenzo: The village of Dinkoro, situated 8 kilometers from Solenzo, has made a donation of 10 bags of corn, each weighing 100 kilograms, and a sum of 20,000 CFA francs to its local self-defense group. This contribution was made on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the village chief, Sibiri Coulibaly, led the handover ceremony in the presence of Marou Ilboudo, the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune, alongside some village notables and a delegation from Solenzo. Chief Coulibaly emphasized the importance of supporting those defending the village, stating, "Our children are doing remarkable work and we must support them. Everyone must contribute to the war effort in their own way. Ours is to help the self-defense group, the VDP, and the FDS with what we contribute, but also with our blessings for victory over the enemy."

Marou Ilboudo expressed gratitude for the village's gesture, highlighting its significance in fostering unity and cooperation among the people. He urged the community to maintain cohesion, understanding, and harmonious living, asserting that these values are essential for achieving great accomplishments and ensuring the village's development.
