Women of Kourittenga’s FEME Contribute Equipment to Faso Mªbo Worth 221,000 FCFA

Ouagadougou: The women of FEME donate equipment worth 221,000 FCFA to Faso Mªbo The Association of Women of the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME) of Kourittenga presented a donation of equipment worth 221,000 FCFA to the Faso Mªbo agency in Koupla on Friday, July 17, 2026. The handover ceremony was attended by local religious leaders and members of the association.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the contribution, entirely funded by the members of the association, consists of 3 bags of sekalite, 2 20-liter cans of used motor oil, and 100 molds of 8. The total cost of this support amounts to 221,000 CFA francs.

For the president of the Association of Women of the FEME of Kourittenga, Marthe Oudraogo/Bonkoungou, this action responds to a civic and spiritual duty "The Bible asks us to obey the authorities."

'As residents of Koupla, Burkina Faso, it is necessary to contribute to the beautification of our cities for the development of the country. I invite the local population and the diaspora to get involved in order to support this presidential initiative,' she added.

Pastor Boureima Malgoubri, president of FEME Kourittenga and head of the central church of the Assemblies of God in Koupla, welcomed the women's organization's initiative. 'Women are applying the biblical texts that call us to be the light and salt of the earth. Our role is not limited to the spiritual realm; it also encompasses the social and physical aspects.
