Dakar: The Stallions women of Burkina Faso will face the Lionesses of Senegal on April 17, as part of the preparations for the CAN in their category, the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) announced.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Women's Stallions are continuing their preparation momentum for the 2026 Women's AFCON. They will face the Lionesses of Teranga in a friendly match on April 17 in Dakar. This match provides an opportunity for coach Pascal Sawadogo to review his squad following the two friendly matches against Morocco.

The Women's Africa Cup of Nations, originally scheduled to take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, has been postponed to July 25 to August 16. Burkina Faso will compete in Group B alongside South Africa, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania.
