Ouagadougou: Young people from the Yagha province took part in an information and exchange meeting on the inter-ministerial decree establishing the creation, responsibilities, composition and operation of the National Consultative Youth Council of Burkina Faso (CNCJ-BF).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was chaired by Comrade Souleymane Nabaloum, Secretary General of the Yagha Province representing the High Commissioner, and co-facilitated by Comrade Nikita Herv Y, Provincial Director of Sports, Youth and Employment for Yagha. The focus was on presenting the interministerial decree and engaging in discussions with participants.
During the discussions, young people and association leaders raised several concerns related to the process of establishing the CNCJ provincial executive office. The authorities addressed these concerns, providing responses that reassured participants about the progress of the process. Association leaders were invited to submit their applications between July 16 and 20, 2026.
The meeting took place simultaneously in the meeting room of the Dori Governorate and at the Sebba town hall. The Secretary General urged young people to demonstrate patriotism and responsible restraint for the smooth progress of the process in the province. Association leaders committed to adhering to the established rules and deadlines, assuring the authorities of a peaceful and regulated process.
