Ouagadougou: The Yamdicr Academy organized a free soap making training session for approximately thirty young individuals on September 18-19, 2026, in Ouagadougou. The training, under the theme "Training, youth and entrepreneurship," aimed to equip participants with practical skills in various trades.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was spearheaded by Wendkuni Barnabas Oudraogo, the promoter and trainer at Yamdicr Academy. Oudraogo emphasized that the primary goal of the initiative is to raise awareness about entrepreneurship among the youth and provide them with the necessary skills to succeed in different trades.

During the two-day event, participants were taught the process of making various soap products, including laundry soap, liquid soap, kabakourou, bleach, and shampoo. Additionally, they received guidance on producing beauty and mentholated ointments, along with advice on contributing positively to society.

Oudraogo encouraged the participants to apply their newfound skills practically, stressing the importance of making sacrifices for future generations. The training was well-received by participants, with Assta Konkobo expressing her gratitude and highlighting the opportunity to generate income through liquid soap production. Fatoumata Oudraogo also committed to sharing her knowledge with her community to maximize the training's impact.

Founded in January 2025, Yamdicr Academy is dedicated to youth training, promoting entrepreneurship, and fostering personal development.
