Ouagadougou: The actors of the educational world of the Basic Education District 1 of Sgunga held their first ordinary council on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Sgunga D school under the sign of excellence and the valorization of endogenous knowledge, AIB observed. This meeting aimed to review the past school year and to plan activities for the 2026-2027 school year.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the district head, Comrade Noaga Michel Kindo, congratulated the participants on the very satisfactory results of the past year. He encouraged them to strive for even greater excellence, while also valuing local knowledge.

At the end of the council meeting, the various stakeholders expressed their commitment to a successful 2026-2027 school year, aware of the major challenges to be met. The council was attended by educational supervisors, office managers, school and CEEP directors, social partners, and the representative of the school councils.
