Johannesburg: Young people in Sanaba receive instructions regarding the establishment of the municipal youth advisory council: Moussa Traor©, President of the Special Delegation of the Sanaba Municipality, presided over an information meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in the courtyard of the town hall, regarding the instructions for establishing the Sanaba Youth Advisory Council. The meeting provided an opportunity to gather proposals for the members who would comprise the future executive committee of the council.
According to Burkina Information Agency, at the start of the proceedings, the PDS read aloud the decree establishing the municipal youth advisory councils. He explained and commented on the main provisions of the text to help participants better understand the objectives, eligibility criteria, procedures for appointing members, and the responsibilities of the future council, which will be composed of seven members aged 15 to 35.
Following these explanations, the leaders of the youth associations and organizations formulated nomination proposals in a spirit of responsibility, consensus and transparency.
PDS Moussa Traor© invited participants to prioritize the general interest, unity and cohesion in order to establish a credible, representative and committed executive office serving the youth of the Sanaba commune.
The discussions took place in a climate of dialogue and consultation, marking an important step in the process of setting up the future Sanaba Youth Advisory Council.
