Youth of Gogo Rally for Sanitation During JEPPC

Zoundweogo: The youth of the commune of Gogo organised on Saturday, a sanitation day at the Gogo Medical Centre, as part of the first phase of the 3rd edition of the Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was led by the United Youth Association of Gogo and saw participation from numerous young people across various villages in the commune. Armed with rakes, brooms, and machetes, they executed a thorough cleaning of the medical center's courtyard, contributing significantly to the cleanliness of the health environment.

The president of the association, Mahamadi Belem, stated that this action aligns with the essence of JEPPC, emphasizing the ownership and responsibility the community holds for their medical center. "The medical center belongs to us. No one else will clean it for us. That's why we decided to act to show our patriotism," he remarked, extending his gratitude to Gogo's youth and citizen watch committees for their impressive mobilization.

The Nakom Naaba, speaking on behalf of the Nabikinga, commended the effort as a civic and patriotic act. He encouraged the youth to remain steadfast in their unity and dedication to the development of their locality.

Dr. Kabore, head physician of the Gogo Medical Center, expressed her appreciation for the initiative. She noted the improved cleanliness of the environment, thanking the organizers and participants for their efforts and wishing for continued unity among the youth.
