Zoundw©ogo: A traffic accident, which occurred on Sunday, April 19, 2026, around 6 p.m. on the Tenkodogo-Guiba road, near the Bind© toll post, left at least three people injured, including one serious case, AIB learned from local sources.
According to Burkina Information Agency, two Toyota Corolla vehicles, traveling from Cinkans© to Ouagadougou, were involved in the accident. The occupants of the two vehicles, who were traveling together towards the same destination, saw their journey abruptly interrupted at the entrance to the town of Bind©, just past the tollbooth.
The testimony of a passenger in the second vehicle indicates that the first vehicle lost control before hitting the markers located near the road, causing significant material damage. The preliminary report indicates at least three people injured, one of whom is in serious condition. No fatalities have been reported.
Alerted, local residents and road users quickly came to the aid of the victims before their evacuation to the Bind© medical center for appropriate care. This accident highlights the need to respect the highway code, in particular moderating speed and increased vigilance near bends, in order to preserve human lives.
