Gnagna: Twenty-five young people from the commune of Coalla, in the Gnagna province, Sirba region, strengthened their entrepreneurship skills on September 10 and 11, 2026, at the Bogand High Commission. This took place during a session initiated by the Referent-Opportunits-Insertion des jeunes (Youth Opportunities and Integration) service of the commune, with the support of the Gnagna Provincial Directorate of Youth and Employment (DPJE/Gnagna).

According to Burkina Information Agency, for two days, participants were equipped on several topics, including basic concepts in entrepreneurship, business plan development, marketing communication, and project financing mechanisms. The training was provided by the provincial director of Youth and Employment of Gnagna, Abdoulaye Sanogo, who favored a participatory approach, alternating presentations, exchanges, questions and answers, and practical group work.

The president of the special delegation (PDS) of Coalla, Abdourazac Gansor, indicated that this initiative aims to develop business acumen among young people, stimulate their entrepreneurial spirit, and facilitate their professional integration. He encouraged the beneficiaries to apply the acquired knowledge to create their own businesses and, in the long term, generate jobs for other young people.

Ouaboa Djingri, the beneficiaries' representative, expressed enthusiasm, stating, "It is with great joy that we received this training and we pledge to put these new skills to use for employability." The PDS of Coalla also reassured young people of the municipality's support in administrative procedures related to the formalization of their projects, particularly in obtaining the Unique Financial Identifier (IFU) and the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM).

This session is part of the municipal authorities of Coalla's efforts to promote entrepreneurship and the economic empowerment of young people, considered essential actors in local development.
