Seydou B©lou Promises Dedication as New Youth Director in Sourou

Sourou: The new provincial director of youth and employment, Seydou B©lou, indicated Wednesday, during his installation, that he will work to deserve the trust placed in him by the highest authorities who entrusted him with the position.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Seydou B©lou was appointed the provincial director of youth and employment (DPJE) of Sourou at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. He was officially installed on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, by the Secretary General of the province, Wendyam Martial Ou©draogo, who represented the High Commissioner, D©sir© Badolo.

In his speech, Seydou B©lou affirmed his commitment to the new role and expressed his dedication to living up to the responsibilities it entails. "This mark of confidence leads me to make a commitment to spare no effort in order to fully deserve it," he stated. B©lou emphasized his intention to focus on training young people to enable them to spearhead the country's development.

The outgoing provincial director, Fouss©ni Par©, who served for five years, expressed his satisfaction with his tenure. "I leave with a sense of satisfaction. It's not easy to leave such a young population after five years together. The young people of Sourou called me the father of youth," Par© remarked. He urged the youth to extend the same support and listening ear to his successor and wished for a swift return to peace and security in Burkina Faso, particularly in Sourou.

Wendyam Martial Ou©draogo, representing the High Commissioner, congratulated the outgoing director for his achievements and encouraged the new director to follow suit. He reassured that the High Commissioner remains available to support B©lou in his mission.
