Gourma: The province of Gourma recorded a success rate of 51.30% in the 2025 session of the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) examination, with 2,890 students gaining admission. Among the successful candidates, 1,598 were girls and 1,292 were boys.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a total of 5,633 candidates participated in the examination, including 3,444 girls and 2,189 boys. The successful completion of the examination amid challenging circumstances is a testament to the dedication of those involved in the educational process.

The provincial director responsible for secondary education in Gourma, Hamadou Gassamb©, expressed gratitude to the Defense and Security Forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland, teachers, students, and parents. He acknowledged their resilience and cooperation in ensuring the smooth conduct of the school exams. Gassamb© highlighted the security challenges faced during the organization of these exams, underlining the significance of their successful completion.
