Nouna: The solemn ceremony of the priestly ordination of Father Bayoua Servace Traor© took place this Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Nouna. It was presided over by Bishop Guy Mukassa Sanon, who encouraged the new priest to be serious and show himself worthy of the honor that God has entrusted to him.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Nouna hosted the ceremony with Catholic faithful, priests, and religious members from the diocese of Nouna, alongside administrative officials from the province. During the homily, Bishop Sanon emphasized the importance of believing in one's vocation and living the ministry with self-giving and selflessness.

The faithful of the church, especially those from the parish of Bomborokuy, warmly received the announcement of Father Traor©'s assignment. Father Traor© expressed deep gratitude towards his family and the priests who have supported his journey. He shared that he felt honored by the ordination, which signifies his commitment to serving God.
