Hounde: The 5th edition of the Revelation Cup, organized by the Tuy Provincial Directorate of Sports and Recreation, culminated on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Kieni Stadium in Hounde. Avenir FC of Hounde dominated the competition, winning both finals in the U15 and U17 categories.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Revelation Cup aims to promote the next generation of footballers in Tuy Province. The 5th edition featured twelve teams, six in the U15 category and six in the U17 category. In the final for the older age groups, Avenir FC defeated Nakoun FC 4-1 on penalties. In the younger age group, the club also emerged victorious, beating Coton FC 1-0 after a hard-fought match.

All participating teams received prizes. The winners received a trophy, a cash prize, a set of jerseys, and two balls. The runners-up received a cash prize, a set of jerseys, and two balls.

For the provincial director of Sports and Recreation of Tuy, Ousseni Pagbelem, this competition, established since 2021, aims to keep the sporting flame alive among the children of Hounde. He added that the ambition is to move towards the "Games of Revelation", a multidisciplinary competition bringing together all the sporting disciplines practiced in Hounde.

Mr. Pagbelem sought the support of well-wishers to bring this project to fruition. He also specified that this youth competition is part of the presidential initiative for the next generation of athletes. "The Revelation Cup is also a source of motivation for the volunteer coaches," he added.

The president of the Hounde special delegation, Souleymane Dianda, the event's sponsor, congratulated the provincial authorities for providing children with the opportunity to express themselves and showcase local talent. He pledged his support for future editions.

Launched on August 29, 2025, this edition took place under the chairmanship of the High Commissioner of the province of Tuy, Issiaka Segda.
