Burkina faso: BTP AFRIK TV held a press conference this Thursday in Ouagadougou to announce the holding of the second edition of the Gala of the Top 20 Construction and Public Works (BTP) companies of Burkina Faso, scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2026 at the banquet hall of Ouagadougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event aims to promote excellence and resilience in a sector that is strategic for the socio-economic development of the country. The ceremony is set to recognize merit and value performance in the construction industry, celebrating the efforts of individuals and companies that have distinguished themselves in 2025.
The chairman of the organizing committee, Youssouf Deme, highlighted that this edition will offer increased visibility to companies that excel in the quality of their achievements. Exceptional trophies will be awarded, including one to the President of Faso for his commitment to major infrastructure projects, and another to the People's Republic of China for its cooperation in Burkina Faso's infrastructure development.
Approximately 800 guests, including construction industry players, media professionals, sponsors, and partners, are expected to attend, with Mali and Niger as guest countries of honor. The ceremony will feature a gala dinner, trophy presentations, artistic performances, a fashion show by construction technicians, and a fundraising event for the Faso Mªbo initiative.
The awards will cover several categories, including main prizes, special prizes, tribute trophies, and honorary trophies. The event will also serve as a forum for discussing the challenges facing the construction sector, aiming to promote harmonious and sustainable development.
This edition is under the high patronage of the Minister of Homeland Construction, Mikailou Sidibe, and sponsored by the President of the Consular Delegation, Roland Alain Sow.
