Tougo: Staff from the Tougo Basic Education District (CEB) organized a New Year's greetings ceremony for the district head, Boureima Gansonre, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. The event was presided over by the first vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Tougo, Relwende Cecile Ouedraogo/Belem, and gathered teachers, inspectors, heads of post-primary institutions, as well as the head of the CEB of Bassi, Amidou Younga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ernest Sayaogo spoke on behalf of the teachers, congratulating the Head of the CEB for his efforts to improve the working environment and enhance the professional capacities of educators, particularly through the training sessions organized for the teaching staff.
Mr. Gansonre, the head of the Constituency, reciprocated by praising the dedication of the teachers for their work over the past year and encouraged them to continue their efforts in addressing the current challenges within the education system.
The first vice-president of the special delegation also addressed the attendees, acknowledging the dedication of all involved in education and urging them to find local solutions to the issues faced in schools. "The challenges are enormous and I know that you can solve some of them through dialogue and open collaboration with the people of your villages," she suggested.
The ceremony served as a platform for recognition, motivation, and the strengthening of cohesion among various education stakeholders in the commune of Tougo. During the event, a gift consisting of a Faso Dan Fani loincloth was presented to the CCEB on behalf of all the teachers of the CEB.
