Nahouri: Young people from the Sunni movement donate over 140,000 CFA francs to the Zecco CSPS: The Zecco Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) received a financial contribution of 141,500 CFA francs on Monday, February 9, 2026. The initiative was undertaken by young people from the Sunni movement in Zecco.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the representative of the youth of the Sunni movement of Zecco, Iman Yacouba Ou©na, stated that this initiative is part of a dynamic to support community health and participate in local development. "We noticed that our CSPS lacks many things, and we decided to contribute. It was at the end of this that we were able to collect an amount of 141,500 CFA francs. This amount will be used to pay for a power converter, repair the sinks, and make shelves to store the medical equipment," he explained.
After receiving the funds, the center's major, Narcisse Dabir©, praised this social and humanitarian act by the movement. For him, this contribution will improve the working conditions of healthcare staff and the reception of patients. The power converter will ensure a secure power supply, essential for certain treatments and the preservation of medical products. As for the repaired shelves and sinks, they contribute to better organization and compliance with hygiene conditions within the center.
Mr. Dabir© also invited other well-meaning individuals to support local health facilities because the CSPS lacks benches to relieve patients, as the waiting rooms are often crowded with patients. It should be noted that the Zecco CSPS, located about fifty kilometers from P´, opened its doors in 1995 and today has 10 healthcare staff.
