Kenedougou’s New Provincial Director of Family and Solidarity, Fatoumata Bene, Promises Transparent Leadership

Orodara: The Secretary General of Kenedougou Province, Bassanma Ko, officially installed Fatoumata Bene as the Provincial Director of Family and Solidarity for Kenedougou. Bene, appointed on March 26, 2026, by the Council of Ministers, took office on April 14, 2026, succeeding Lenivo Sanou. She pledged to foster transparency and teamwork to build a cohesive leadership team serving the people.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Fatoumata Bene, a Gender Promotion Advisor, expressed gratitude to her superiors for the trust placed in her. She acknowledged the significance of her new role and reaffirmed her commitment to collaborate closely with her colleagues. "I pledge to work with transparency, listening and team spirit, without any distinction, in order to build a united, dynamic and efficient leadership, serving the people," she stated.

The outgoing director, Lenivo Sanou, reflected on his three-year tenure, expressing satisfaction despite facing challenges. He also thanked those who supported him during his time in Kenedougou Province.

Both the regional director of Family and Solidarity of Guiriko, Olle Kam, and Secretary General Bassanma Ko, congratulated Bene and Sanou for their dedication. They offered advice and encouragement for the success of their missions, emphasizing the benefit to the people.
