Banwa: The President of the Special Delegation of Kouka, Raymond Ilboudo, presided over a solemn ceremony of raising the national colors coupled with a presentation of certificates of merit to galvanize the workers of the commune. The event, held on Monday, June 22, 2026, was attended by members of the special delegation, heads of municipal departments, and all municipal employees.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony unfolded in an atmosphere of patriotic fervor, as participants sang the national anthem, symbolizing unity and a collective commitment to the development of Burkina Faso. On this occasion, the PDS encouraged municipal agents to continue their efforts professionally and prioritize the general interest above personal considerations.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates of merit to municipal workers who distinguished themselves through commitment, diligence, and quality work in service to the people. Raymond Ilboudo emphasized that the certificates aim to promote values of dedication, integrity, discipline, and sacrifice in serving the nation.
Through this recognition, the head of the municipality praised the workers’ high sense of duty and their remarkable contribution to improving municipal services. Upon receiving the awards, Comrade Gniko Bonzi, representing the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the municipal authorities for this recognition and reaffirmed his determination to pursue his mission with greater selflessness and responsibility.
