Ouagadougou: The Association of Dozos without borders of Kenedougou, in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Water and Forests, executed a reforestation operation in Saraba, part of the rural commune of Samogohiri, with the planting of 800 seedlings.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was part of the 8th edition of the National Tree Day (JNA) and gathered numerous dozo hunters from various localities within the province. Lassina Ouattara, president of the Association of Dozos Without Borders of Kenedougou, explained that Saraba was strategically chosen to host this reforestation campaign as it now accommodates the association's relocated headquarters.

Comrade Ouattara emphasized that the effort symbolizes the commitment of the Dozos to environmental preservation and aims to bolster peace, social cohesion, and communal coexistence. Through this civic action, the participants reiterated their dedication to supporting national endeavors to restore vegetation cover and combat the degradation of natural resources.
