Ouagadougou: The city of Djibo hosted, for the very first time in its history, the official launch of the competitive examinations for the Civil Service, 2026 session.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the minister, comrade Mathias Traor, who personally attended to emphasize the Government's commitment to guaranteeing equal opportunities to all candidates, regardless of their location within the national territory.

In officially launching the competitions, Minister Mathias Traor highlighted that his presence in Djibo signifies a strong commitment from the Government to ensure territorial equity. He pointed out that candidates from Soum province should have the same opportunities as those from other regions in Burkina Faso. Traor stated, "I came to Djibo so that the candidates here have the same chances as those who take the exams elsewhere. Every Burkinabe, wherever they reside, must be able to access state opportunities under the same conditions."

For the authorities, organizing the official launch of the direct civil service competitions in Djibo represents a significant step in making public administration more accessible to the people and promoting social justice. This event reflects the intent of the highest authorities in the country to enhance social equity and territorial justice, enabling all regions, including those facing security challenges, to participate fully in national administrative life.
