Ousmane Kindo Named President of CNAVC Houet Branch

Ouagadougou: The National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC), Houet branch, announced this Sunday the appointment of Ousmane Kindo as its president. The official announcement was made at the CNAVC/Houet headquarters, in the presence of coordination officials, member associations, and journalists.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official installation ceremony for the new office is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at the Regional Council. This will mark the effective start of the new leadership team's term, tasked with addressing the challenges related to promoting civic engagement, responsible citizenship, and community involvement in the Houet province.

This renewal is in accordance with the CNAVC's regulations, which stipulate a six-month term for each mandate. The outgoing president, Zakaria Sor©, expressed his satisfaction with the activities carried out during his term. "We will continue to support the new board in fulfilling its mission," he stated.
