Mogtdo Mothers of Scholarship Recipients Empowered with Income-Generating Training

Ouagadougou: Ten mothers of scholarship recipients from the Children and Youth Fund - Child Protection and Youth Training (FEJ-PEFJ) project participated in a training session on income-generating activities at the Mogtdo town hall on July 17 and 18, 2026. This was accompanied by financial support to help them launch their initiatives.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the training was organized under the partnership between the Mogtdo town hall and the Children's Fund. The initiative aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the beneficiaries to promote their financial independence and improve the living conditions of their households sustainably.

Throughout the two-day training, participants learned principles of managing income-generating activities and received funds to start or strengthen their economic ventures.

Project officials highlighted the support's contribution to the economic empowerment of the mothers and the creation of a conducive environment for the protection, schooling, and success of children. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Mogtdo town hall and the Children's Fund, committing to use the resources responsibly to boost their families' incomes.
