Ouagadougou: The Sourgou A and C public primary schools wrapped up their academic year activities on Thursday, July 16, focusing on the theme of excellence, with notable attendance from local customary, administrative, and educational authorities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the end-of-year ceremony was held under the patronage of His Majesty Naaba Saaga, representing His Majesty Naaba Ziiri, Chief of the canton of Sourgou. Key figures in attendance included the Prefect, the President of the Special Delegation of Sourgou, Inoussa Oudraogo, and the Head of the Basic Education District, Nagnon Kabouga/Nion.
The celebration marked a significant achievement for both schools, as they achieved a 100% success rate in the Primary School Certificate session for 2026. To acknowledge this accomplishment, the students and faculty were awarded gifts and letters of commendation, encouraging them to continue their pursuit of academic excellence in future years.
