Ouagadougou: Leaders of youth associations, movements, and organizations in the Nando region participated in an information and exchange meeting focused on the process of establishing the National Consultative Youth Council of Burkina Faso (CNCJ-BF). Chaired by Governor Adama Jean Yves B©r©, the meeting took place in the conference room of the Regional Council.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the main objective of the meeting was to present the process of setting up the Regional Executive Bureau (BER) of the CNCJ-BF. Participants were informed about the content of the interministerial decree n°2026-0029/MSJE/MATM/MEF, which outlines the creation, powers, composition, and operation of this consultative body.
Youth representatives expressed their support for the initiative, highlighting it as an effective means to enhance the participation of young people in public life and local development. In his closing remarks, Governor B©r© encouraged the youth to fully embrace the process and participate responsibly. He called on them to make the future body a platform for constructive dialogue, consultation, and concrete proposals to benefit the nation.
