Abuja: The city of Koudougou paid a vibrant tribute on Saturday, July 25, to Jean Urbain Kombass©r©, who was taken too soon from the affection of his family. Having passed away in the prime of his life, in the strength of his forties, this illustrious servant of the community left with weapons in hand, at the very heart of his fight for local development and the well-being of his fellow citizens.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the commemorative day began under the leadership of the President of the special delegation of Koudougou, Comrade Am©d©e Par©, with the symbolic impetus of a popular cross-country race. Jean Urbain Kombass©r©'s legacy was then etched into the nourishing earth he loved so much with tree plantings at his home, symbols of a life that continues to bear fruit through nature and the future. A commemorative plaque was installed to ensure that no one forgets the face of authentic commitment, and a grand night of tribute brought together a crowd of anonymous people, dignitaries, and partners and collaborators from Belgium and other horizons.

For more than two decades, Jean Urbain Kombass©r© embodied the moral compass and the active energy of community development in Koudougou. As First Vice-President of the Special Municipal Delegation, he led a noble and selfless fight on all fronts: the promotion of citizenship and collective responsibility, the empowerment of young people and women, the protection of the environment, and the strengthening of civil society.
