Ouagadougou: The representative of the High Commissioner of Namentenga Province, Batio Roger Nbi, presided over the closing ceremony of the first edition of the "Top Football Holidays" camp organized by the Tinb Nooma association on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Boulsa. He praised the initiative, stating that it contributes to children's education through sport.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for one month, 120 children aged 5 to 11 years benefited from supervision adapted to their age group in order to learn the fundamentals of football. The closing ceremony featured demonstrations of the campers' skills in front of their parents and guests. The children performed technical courses as well as individual and team games, allowing the public to appreciate the skills acquired during the 30-day training program.
The president of the Tinb Nooma association, Cydrique Korogo, stated that this first edition took place in good conditions, thanks to the involvement of the supervisors and the trust of the parents. "We are satisfied with how the camp went. The entire program was executed and no incidents were recorded," he said. Mr. Korogo expressed his gratitude to the parents for entrusting their children to the association. He also hoped for greater participation from campers and increased support from partners for the second edition.
On behalf of the High Commissioner, Batio Roger Nbi congratulated the association's leaders for their commitment to youth. "I congratulate you on your contribution to children's education through sport," he said, while encouraging the promoters to sustain this initiative for the benefit of the province's children.
