Ouagadougou: Parents of students at the Pilimpikou Public Primary School ‘B’ gathered in significant numbers on Friday, August 21, 2026, to participate in a weeding operation at the school field. The initiative was spearheaded by Timbi mile Sogo, the president of the School Council.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this activity underscores the educational community’s focus on collective work and the promotion of food self-sufficiency. Continuing the efforts from the previous campaign, sesame has been chosen for cultivation on the demonstration field during the current wet season.
