Project Manager Omar Traor© Welcomes TEXFORCES-BF Inauguration and Urges Boost in Cotton Production

Ouagadougou: The Head of Mission of the Presidency of Faso to the Guiriko region, Omar Traor©, welcomed the inauguration of the Burkina Armed Forces Textile Industrial Complex (TEXFORCES-BF) in L´g´fourousso, believing that the infrastructure will contribute to the empowerment of youth and the transformation of Burkinabe cotton.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the inauguration of this industrial complex reflects the momentum initiated by the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Omar Traor© expressed pride and satisfaction with the completion of the project, emphasizing its role in empowering young people and transforming Burkinabe cotton into finished products.

The project manager recalled his presence at the laying of the foundation stone and praised the rapid completion of the complex. He highlighted the significance of the TEXFORCES-BF for job creation across the population, including young people and women, and its potential to strengthen the national economy.

Comrade Traor© also called on cotton producers to increase their production to ensure a steady supply to the industrial unit. He noted the shift from exporting raw cotton to transforming it into finished products domestically, aligning with Captain Ibrahim Traor©'s vision.

Finally, he urged cotton farmers to expand their production plots to avoid a shortage of raw materials and further contribute to the transformation of the Burkinabe economy.
