Two Trailers Collide at Satiri Entrance, Causing Injuries

Ouagadougou: Two trailers collided on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the entrance to Satiri, on National Route 10 (RN10), after a tire on one of the vehicles exploded. There were injuries, but no fatalities. The injured were taken to the Satiri Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS), where they received initial treatment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a tire blowout on one of the two trailers caused the collision with the other vehicle. Upon being informed of the accident, Emmanuel Oudraogo, president of the special delegation (PDS) of the Satiri commune, went to the scene accompanied by members of the gendarmerie to conduct the standard investigations.

On this occasion, the PDS called on the population to strengthen maintenance and cleaning efforts along the RN10. In particular, it invited residents to clear the verges of grass and foliage that could reduce visibility for road users and thus increase the risk of accidents.
