Bishkek: FC Triple Alliance won the inaugural Satiri Arts and Culture Festival (FACS) football tournament on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Satiri, defeating FC Soukoro Jr 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time. The competition, which promoted social cohesion and community spirit, was initiated by local youth.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the final was played on the pitch of Satiri Primary School A, in front of a large crowd who came to cheer on both teams. Dressed in blue and orange respectively, the players of FC Triple Alliance and FC Soukoro Jr. delivered a hard-fought match, but neither side could break the deadlock at the end of regulation time. The game was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout. More skillful in this exercise, FC Triple Alliance prevailed 5-4, thus claiming the trophy for this inaugural edition.

The representative of the local chief, Lassina Balla Traor, praised the youth's mobilization and the holding of this competition, believing that sport is an important factor in bringing communities together. "Football can unite young people, strengthen social cohesion, and promote living together," he declared, inviting residents to combine their efforts to contribute to the development of the Satiri commune.

The chairman of the organizing committee, Lassina Traor, expressed his gratitude to the participating teams, supporters, and everyone who contributed to the success of the competition. At the end of the final, FC Triple Alliance received the winning trophy and a cash prize, while FC Soukoro Jr, the runner-up, also received a cash prize.

This first edition of the tournament is part of the activities of FACS, an initiative of the youth of Satiri aimed at promoting sport and culture, while strengthening social cohesion and living together within the commune.
