Gourcy:The 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) commenced on October 5, 2026, with a flag-raising ceremony at the Zondoma High Commission.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this event marks the beginning of the second phase of the initiative, focusing on promoting local products under the slogan "All for Made in Burkina." The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, through a message delivered by the High Commissioner of Zondoma, Aboubacar Sidiki Nab, urged citizens to engage in producing, processing, and consuming local goods.
The initiative aims to enhance quality, income, and job creation, emphasizing the crucial role of women in making family food choices. The High Commissioner also acknowledged World Teachers' Day, celebrated on the same day, and commended the education community for its active participation.
The second phase of JEPPC, running from October 2nd to 16th, includes various activities such as a blood drive, educational sessions on Burkina Faso's heroes' values, a cleanup day, and collecting contributions for the Patriotic Support Fund.
