Niangoloko:The President of the special municipal delegation of Niangoloko, Oussni Oudraogo, has called on event organizers at the town hall to prioritize local dishes for coffee breaks during their activities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this announcement was made at the traditional monthly flag-raising ceremony. During the event, the Senegalese Democratic Party requested that local cuisine be emphasized in training sessions, workshops, and other meetings held at the Niangoloko town hall.
Oudraogo conveyed a message from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, highlighting the importance of supporting local consumption. He urged the community to adopt practices that promote local products, asserting that such efforts are crucial to national sovereignty.
He referenced the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation, emphasizing that these initiatives should result in real behavioral changes rather than remain mere slogans. Oudraogo stressed the need for families to consume local dishes to contribute to the country's development.
Additionally, the PDS praised the town hall staff for attending the ceremony and for their efforts in wearing traditional Burkinabe attire. He encouraged them to maintain and enhance the quality of public service provided to the community.
