Pni:The conscripts for the Compulsory Patriotic Immersion (IPO) of the 2025 and 2026 cohorts organized a sanitation operation at the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) of Pni. This effort aimed to improve hygiene within the health environment and contribute to disease prevention.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the community service activity involved cleaning and sanitizing the immediate surroundings of the CSPS. This initiative was intended to provide a cleaner and healthier environment for patients, their companions, and healthcare staff.
Major Inoussa Oudraogo of the Pni Primary Health Center (CSPS) praised the young conscripts for their dedication and contribution to enhancing the health environment. He described the effort as an "act of civic duty" and a demonstration of civic responsibility, urging the conscripts to continue their community engagement for the population's benefit.
Awa Coulibaly, representing the IPO, highlighted that the operation signified the conscripts' commitment to supporting the CSPS in its mission to protect public health. She pointed out that the rainy season promotes the proliferation of mosquitoes, which are vectors for several diseases, posing risks to patients, caregivers, and healthcare workers. Coulibaly emphasized that the activity was a way to support the CSPS and aid in disease prevention.
Following the cleanup, recruits from both classes participated in a football match at the Pni municipal field. This event fostered brotherhood, cohesion, and team spirit between the groups. Through these activities, the IPO recruits aim to contribute to community development and uphold values of solidarity, discipline, and patriotism.
