Piela:Thirty teachers from the basic education district of Piela have successfully completed a two-week training course focused on transcription and didactics of bi-plurilingual education at school B in Piela. The training was an integral part of the effort to generalize a harmonized formula for bilingual and multilingual education.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training session was conducted by inspectors Narcisse Kadio and François Nadinga. It aimed to enhance the pedagogical skills of the educators to better implement this educational approach in their classrooms.
Throughout the training, teachers received technical support to improve their mastery of transcription techniques and didactic methods specific to bi-plurilingual education, with a focus on gulmantchema. The head of the basic education district of Piela, Mathieu Ouedraogo, encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained and to continue seeking educational advancement.
The harmonized educational approach had previously been piloted in the schools of Tiongopani and Dabilgou. Participants expressed the need for teaching guides to aid in applying their newly acquired skills and to bolster classroom practices.
This training initiative is part of a broader strategy to expand bi-multilingual education to other schools within the Piela district.
