A road accident caused the death of two people early Friday and injured 28 others, the AIB learned from the firefighters.

A public transport bus overturned at dawn in the town of Pâ on National 1, Friday June 16, 2023.

The accident left 2 dead, 8 seriously injured and 20 slightly injured, according to firefighters.

The passengers were rescued by the 6th company of Boromo firefighters, following an alert received at 5:25 a.m.

The injured were evacuated to the Boromo medical center, the same sources said.

But for the moment the causes of the accident are unknown.

In recent days, at least three other fatal accidents have taken place in Balé province.
