Ouagadougou: The inauguration ceremony of Bassirou Diomaye Faye, fifth president of the Republic of Senegal, began at the exhibition hall of the Abdou Diouf de Diamniadio International Conference Center (CICAD), noted the APS.Bassirou Dimomaye Faye was seated in an armchair alongside the members of the Constitutional Council.The ceremony takes place in the presence of heads of state, foreign ministers and presidents of institutions from the African continent.These are mainly the presidents of the Republic of Gambia, Adama Barro, that of Guinea Bissau, Umaru Cissokho Umballo, as well as their counterparts of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, Guinea and Mauritania.The Vice-President of Côte d'Ivoire Thiémoko Meyliet Koné, the President of the National Transitional Council in Mali, Colonel Malick Diaw, the President of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, the President of the Commission of ECOWAS and the President of the National Assembly of Burkina Faso are also on site.Source: Burkina In formation Agency
