The heads of services of the regional directorate of post-primary and secondary education (DREPS) of Boucle du Mouhoun, held their internal council on Tuesday April 2, 2024 in Dédougou under the chairmanship of the President of said council . , Dr Denis Vimboué.Sharing information for greater efficiency was the main point on the agenda of the internal management council which is being held on this first day of the start of the third quarter of the 2023-2024 school year.To do this, the Regional Director of post-primary and secondary education of Boucle du Mouhoun, Dr Denis Vimboué, expressed his gratitude to all of his colleagues for their unfailing involvement in meeting the challenges facing management. .He shared information related to his participation in meetings, the agents' proposal for future decorations.Giving each department head a voice, several pieces of information were shared to allow each employee to be at the same level of information.The third quarter of the school year being that o f exams, the head of the school exams and competitions department presented the various statistics linked to upcoming exams.For this exam session, the Boucle du Mouhoun region will present 15,972 BEPC candidates including 9,305 girls and 6,667 boys.Among these candidates, there are 3,051 candidates who are internally displaced persons. There will be 770 candidates for the BEP and CAP exams and 8,373 candidates for the Baccalaureate, all series combined.For these different exams, Dr Denis Vimboué shared the vision of the Minister of National Education, Literacy and the Promotion of National Languages who wants the exams to be well organized and not marred by errors.While thanking his colleagues for the quality of collaboration, he hoped that the course would be maintained in order to succeed in the common mission.Source: Burkina Information Agency
